CC NEXT (Child Care NEXT)
Mission
The New Mexico CC NEXT coalition consists of X key partners and is a part of the national Child Care NEXT initiative, aimed at supporting states ready to launch long-term campaigns for transformative change in childcare policies and funding. The coalition focuses on stabilizing the early childhood education (ECE) workforce in New Mexico by advocating for an equitable wage and career ladder and ensuring sustainable, rewarding career pathways for educators.
BIPOC/ALAANA PN-3 Coalition (Black, Indigenous, People of Color / African, Latinx, Asian, Arab, and Native American)
Mission
The BIPOC/ALAANA PN-3 Coalition, also known as "The Community Voice PN-3 Coalition," brings together diverse organizations to build a multi-racial leadership table focused on prenatal-to-age-3 (PN-3) policy in New Mexico. This coalition works to ensure that families from historically underinvested communities receive culturally respectful, comprehensive perinatal care, and that they have access to high-quality, anti-racist, and free early care and education.
ECE Budget Coalition (Early Childhood Education Budget Coalition)
Mission
The ECE Budget Coalition is a collective of 15 organizations using grassroots strategies to continue the work started with the passage of Constitutional Amendment #1, which ensures access to Early Childhood funds. The coalition is committed to securing dignified wages and benefits for early childhood educators in New Mexico, particularly those from BIPOC and immigrant communities. Through comprehensive policy advocacy, the coalition aims to uplift the workforce and improve access to affordable, high-quality childcare.
